According to the user manual, it is recommended to replace the filters in the every 4 months for optimal performance. This recommendation is based on average household air quality. However, the filter replacement reminder in the purifier is set to go off every 3,000 hours. To reset the filter replacement reminder after replacing the filters, press and hold the AUTO and TIMER buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. It is important to use certified Hathaspace filters for the HSP002 model to avoid shortening the life of the air purifier.
