To install the AXIS D3110 Connectivity Hub, please follow these steps:
1. Read through the Installation Guide carefully before starting the installation process. Keep the guide for future reference.
2. Ensure that you have all the necessary tools and accessories for installation, including screws, plugs, and a shielded network cable (STP).
3. Choose a suitable location for the hub, considering factors such as accessibility and network connectivity.
4. Use screws and plugs appropriate for the material (e.g., wood, metal, sheet rock, stone) to securely mount the hub in the chosen location.
5. Connect the hub to the network using the shielded network cable (STP). It is recommended to use a shielded network cable for optimal performance.
6. Ensure that the power supply used with the hub has a rated output voltage within the range of 10-28 V DC and a maximum current rating of 3.5 A.
7. If using Power over Ethernet (PoE), ensure that the Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) complies with IEEE 802.3af and Limited Power Source (LPS) requirements.
8. For additional safety, ground the hub through the shielded network cable (STP) or another appropriate method if the connecting cables are routed outdoors.
9. Once the hub is securely installed and connected to the network, it is ready to be used.
