To clean the Dash DPM200 Pocket Sandwich Maker, follow these steps:
1. Always allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Unplug the Pocket Sandwich Maker.
3. Using a damp, soapy cloth, wipe down the Cooking Surface, its edges, and the Cover.
4. Thoroughly rinse the cloth and wipe again.
5. Thoroughly dry the Pocket Sandwich Maker before storing.
6. If there is food burned onto the Cooking Surface, pour a little cooking oil on it and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
7. Scrub the Surface with a sponge or soft-bristled brush to dislodge the food.
8. Use a damp, soapy cloth to wipe down the Cooking Surface again.
9. Thoroughly rinse the cloth and wipe again.
10. If any food remains, pour on cooking oil and let it sit for a few hours, then scrub and wipe clean.
11. Never use abrasive cleaning agents as they may damage the Pocket Sandwich Maker and its nonstick Cooking Surface.
