To connect the HORI NSW-182U Split Pad Pro Nintendo Switch Controller to your Nintendo Switch console, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your Nintendo Switch is updated to the latest system firmware.
2. This product only works in Handheld Mode and must be attached to the Nintendo Switch console to function. It cannot be used in TV Mode or Tabletop Mode, or as a wireless controller.
3. Slide the Split Pad Pro from top to bottom along the rails of the Nintendo Switch console until you hear a click. Be careful not to move the analog sticks when installing.
4. To remove the Split Pad Pro, hold the Release Button on the back of the product while sliding it from bottom to top.
5. If the controller is not functioning properly, remove it from the Nintendo Switch console and reattach it.
6. If the analog sticks are not responding correctly, rotate them two or three times in large circles to calibrate. This process only works when the Split Pad Pro is attached to the Nintendo Switch console and the power supply is on.
7. Please note that the Split Pad Pro is not compatible with the "Calibrate Control Sticks" option in the Nintendo Switch HOME Menu.
