To clean the Clatronic WKS 3288 Cordless Water Kettle, follow these steps:
1. Always switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket before cleaning. Wait until the appliance has cooled down.
2. Do not immerse the appliance or the base in water or other liquids as it could cause an electric shock or fire hazard.
3. Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive objects, and do not use sharp or abrasive cleaning agents.
4. Rinse the water reservoir with clean water and dry it with a cloth.
5. Clean the housing with a slightly damp cloth after use.
6. The kettle has a permanent filter located at the spout opening. To clean the filter, push it a little towards the spout and pull it out at the same time. Rinse it under running water, and you can use a nylon brush to help. Replace the filter by ensuring it audibly clicks into place in the holder.
7. Descaling may be necessary depending on the hardness of the water and the frequency of use. Use a commercially available descaling agent based on citric acid, following the instructions provided with the descaling agent. Do not use vinegar. After descaling, boil fresh water several times (approximately 3 to 4 times) to remove any residues. Do not use this water for consumption.
