To connect the VigilLink VLIP-JP4K3K-DC 1G JPEG2000 HDMI 4K30 Over IP to your network, follow these steps:
1. Connect the Encoder and Decoder to your network switch using Ethernet cables.
2. Ensure that the network switch supports Gigabit bandwidth and has IGMP snooping enabled.
3. If your network switch supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), you can power the Encoder and Decoder directly from the switch. Otherwise, use the included DC power adapters to power them.
4. Connect your HDMI source device to the HDMI input of the Encoder using an HDMI cable.
5. Connect your display or monitor to the HDMI output of the Decoder using an HDMI cable.
6. Connect any audio devices to the corresponding audio input and output ports on the Encoder and Decoder.
7. Connect any control devices, such as IR receivers or RS-232 devices, to the corresponding ports on the Encoder and Decoder.
8. Power on the Encoder, Decoder, and network switch.
Once the devices are connected and powered on, they should automatically establish a network connection. You can then access the devices' web-based GUI or use a third-party controller to configure and control the system. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on accessing and using the web GUI and controller.
