To install the UNIWATT UHCB Bathroom Fan Heater, follow these steps:
1. Cut off power supply at the circuit breaker/fuse before proceeding with the installation and wiring connections.
2. Locate the cable coming from the wall.
3. Remove the two screws located underneath the unit and take off the front cover by pulling it gently downwards.
4. Remove the wiring compartment cover (one xxxx ).
5. Punch out one of the knockouts (KO) to allow for cable entry.
6. Secure the heater to the wall by inserting screws into the holes at the very back of the heater.
7. Make the appropriate electrical connections (red to red, black to black, ground fault protection wire to ground fault protection xxxx ). Refer to the electric wiring diagram provided in the manual.
8. xxxx the wiring compartment cover back into place.
9. Put the front cover back on.
10. Install the grille by inserting the tabs in the holes on the top of the casing on the rear part of the grille. Then xxxx the two screws provided in the holes on the bottom of the unit.
