To properly fit and adjust the RESMED 618220 Mirage Quattro Full Face Mask, follow these steps:
1. Start by selecting the correct size mask. The Mirage Quattro Full Face Mask is available in XS, S, M, L, and St (standard) sizes. Refer to the Components Card provided to determine the appropriate size for your face.
2. Before fitting the mask, ensure that all components are properly assembled. The Elbow Assembly consists of the elbow, valve, clip, and swivel. Make sure these components are securely attached.
3. Hold the mask against your face, with the cushion covering your nose and mouth. The cushion should be centered and aligned with your face.
4. Adjust the headgear straps to achieve a secure and comfortable fit. Start with the bottom straps and then adjust the top straps. The straps should be snug but not overly tight.
5. Use the quick-release tabs on the headgear to easily remove or put on the mask.
6. Once the mask is fitted, connect the tubing from your CPAP or BiPAP machine to the elbow assembly.
7. Turn on your machine and ensure that the mask is properly sealed. Adjust the headgear straps if necessary to improve the seal.
