To set up the WiFi connection on the tekmar TEK564 Invita WiFi Thermostat, follow these steps:
1. Before using the WiFi features, make sure to read and accept the Terms of Use available at www.InvitaConnect.com/terms.
2. Ensure that the thermostat is connected to a stable power source.
3. On the thermostat's home screen, press the button to enter the settings menu.
4. Navigate to the "Setup" menu using the arrow buttons and press the button to select.
5. In the "Setup" menu, you will find an option for WiFi setup. Select this option and follow the step-by-step tutorial provided by the thermostat.
6. The tutorial will guide you through connecting the thermostat to your WiFi network. Make sure to have your WiFi network name (SSID) and password ready.
7. Once the thermostat successfully connects to your WiFi network, it will display a confirmation message.
8. You can now control and monitor your thermostat remotely using the Invita Connect mobile app.
Please note that setting the time and date manually may prevent the thermostat from communicating with the mobile app. It is recommended to use the automatic time source when using an internet connection.
