To install the red Smoke Alarms R10RF Photoelectric Smoke Alarm, follow these steps:
1. Remove the mounting plate from the back of the smoke alarm by turning it counter-clockwise.
2. Position the smoke alarm mounting plate on the wall or ceiling and xxxx it into place.
3. Mount the alarm head to the base and turn it clockwise to engage the "on" function.
4. Push the test button to test the smoke alarm.
