To install the Quoizel MCI2815MBK pendant ceiling light, please follow the steps outlined in the installation guide provided with the product:
1. Safety First: Before beginning installation, make sure to turn off the electricity at the circuit breaker box or main fuse box to avoid the risk of electric shock.
2. Use the Correct Bulbs: Ensure that you use bulbs specified by the markings and/or labels on the fixture to prevent the risk of fire.
3. Required Tools: Gather the necessary tools for installation.
4. Care and Maintenance: Clean the fixture using a soft, dry cloth or static duster. Avoid using harsh chemicals and abrasives as they may damage the finish.
5. Mounting Hardware: Check the package contents and gather all the necessary mounting hardware.
6. Install Socket Assembly to Glass Shade: Follow the instructions provided in the manual to securely attach the socket assembly to the glass shade.
7. Install Rods: Depending on your ceiling height, use the appropriate rods provided. For an 8-foot ceiling, use two 12-inch rods. For a 9-foot ceiling, use two 6-inch rods and two 12-inch rods.
8. Install Fixture Loop: Attach the fixture loop according to the instructions provided.
9. Install Quick Link and Pull Supply Wires: Follow the manual's instructions to install the quick link and connect the supply wires.
10. Wiring: Connect the wires according to the wiring instructions provided in the manual.
11. Install Ceiling Canopy: Securely attach the ceiling canopy to cover the electrical connections.
12. Install Glass Shade and Bulbs: Install the glass shade onto the fixture and then insert three correct bulbs, referring to the fixture markings and/or labels for the maximum wattage. The recommended bulb type is not included with the product.
