To connect the to your battery, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the charger is suitable for your battery's voltage and capacity. The charger is designed for lead acid batteries with a nominal voltage of 12V and a capacity between 10Ah and 45Ah.
2. Before connecting the charger, make sure you are in a well-ventilated indoor area. Remove the battery caps and check the level of liquid. If necessary, fill up the battery with distilled water. Clean the battery terminals.
3. Disconnect any electronic systems from the battery during the charging process to avoid damaging the vehicle's onboard electronics.
4. Connect the charger's clamps to the battery terminals. The red clamp should be connected to the positive (+) terminal, and the black clamp should be connected to the negative (-) terminal. Ensure a good electric contact.
5. Start by connecting the battery terminal that is not connected to the chassis of the vehicle. Then, connect the other connection to the chassis, away from the battery and any fuel line.
6. Plug in the charger to a 230V 50/60Hz mains supply.
7. Monitor the charge process by observing the voltage indicated by the voltmeter on the charger. When the voltage reaches over 14.8 volts, the battery is fully charged, and the charging process should be stopped.
8. After charging, disconnect the charger from the mains supply. Then, remove the chassis connection and the battery connection, in that order.
