To connect the STRONG SRT ANT 30 antenna to your Digital Terrestrial Receiver or Digital TV, please follow these steps:
1. Powering the antenna with the power adaptor:
a. Take out the main unit of the antenna and check the accessories.
b. Take the coaxial cable that is attached to the antenna and connect it to the Digital Terrestrial Receiver or Digital TV.
c. Take out the power adaptor and connect it to the DC input of the antenna. Plug the AC end of the power adaptor into an AC outlet. Make sure to use only the supplied power adaptor.
d. Perform a channel scan on your Digital Terrestrial Receiver or Digital TV. Refer to the user manual of your device for the specific instructions.
e. Check the signal quality. If you experience poor reception, try placing the antenna at different positions and adjusting the direction.
2. Powering the antenna with Digital Terrestrial Receiver:
a. Turn on your TV set and Digital Terrestrial Receiver.
b. Press the "MENU" button on the remote control of your Digital Terrestrial Receiver.
c. Check in the Set-Up or Installation menu of your receiver to see if the antenna power is set to "ON". This setting may be indicated as ANT power, Ext Antenna power, or Active antenna power. Refer to the user manual of your Digital Terrestrial Receiver for specific terminology.
d. Connect the IEC Male end of the antenna cable to the input connector on your receiver, typically marked as "ANT" (in) or "RF" (in). Refer to the user manual of your Digital Terrestrial Receiver for specific instructions.
Please note that for the best reception, it is recommended to keep the antenna away from sources of interference, install it as high as possible, and avoid any interruption between the antenna and the transmission tower.
