To install the , please follow these steps:
1. Turn off power at the circuit box to avoid electric shock.
2. Remove the cap nuts from the mounting screws and thread the mounting screws into the mounting bar.
3. Secure the mounting bar to the outlet box with outlet box screws (if applicable), allowing the mounting screws to protrude outward.
4. Thread the fixture wires up through the center hole in the mounting bar.
5. Identify the color coding of the fixture wires.
6. Connect the black wire from the fixture with the black wire (live wire) from the outlet box using a wire connector, and wrap the wire connector with electrical tape for a secure connection.
7. Connect the white wire from the fixture with the white wire (neutral wire) from the outlet box using a wire connector, and wrap the wire connector with electrical tape for a secure connection.
8. Partially thread the green grounding xxxx into the side hole on the mounting bar.
9. Wrap the grounding wire from the fixture around the green grounding xxxx , leaving enough excess wire. Connect the excess grounding wire from the fixture with the grounding wire from the outlet box using a wire connector (if applicable), and wrap the wire connector with electrical tape for a secure connection.
10. Tighten the green grounding xxxx .
11. Tuck the wires inside the outlet box.
12. Raise the canopy to the ceiling, allowing the mounting screws to protrude through the openings in the canopy.
13. Secure the canopy with the cap nuts.
14. Install the lamp(s), making sure not to exceed the recommended wattage.
15. Turn the power back on at the circuit box.
