To prepare the artwork for the GoToTags Custom NFC 250x110mm PVC Wristband, please follow these instructions:
1. Place all artwork elements in the "Customer Artwork" parent layer: Ensure that all your design elements are placed within this layer.
2. Do not modify the template: It is important not to make any modifications to the provided template.
3. Use vector graphics for all elements except images: Use vector graphics for text, shapes, and other non-image elements to ensure optimal print quality.
4. Use high-quality images of at least 300 dpi: If you include images in your design, make sure they are high-resolution with a minimum of 300 dots per inch (dpi).
5. Embed images into the file: To avoid any issues with missing images, embed them into the file rather than linking them externally.
6. Use lines that are 0.5 pt or thicker: If you include lines in your design, make sure they are at least 0.5 points thick for better visibility.
7. Avoid including a line or border around the artwork edge: Adding a line or border around the artwork edge may not produce desirable results, so it is recommended to avoid it.
8. Convert text to outlines: Unless you are using variable text, convert all text to outlines to ensure that non-standard fonts are preserved during printing.
9. Ensure readable text: Text should generally be 7 points or higher to ensure readability.
10. Provide examples for variable elements: If you have variable elements like text or barcodes, include an example (position, size, font, etc.) in the "Variable Elements" layer.
11. Barcode requirements: Barcodes must have a white "quiet zone" border to be scannable, and black barcodes tend to work best.
12. Include PMS color codes if used: If you use PMS colors in your design, include the PMS color code in the layer name for accurate color reproduction.
13. Do not flatten layers before saving: Keep the layers intact and do not flatten them before saving the file.
14. Edit and save the file in CMYK color mode: Ensure that the file is edited and saved in the CMYK color mode for accurate color representation during printing.
15. Save the file in Adobe Illustrator format with PDF compatibility: Save the file in the Adobe Illustrator (.ai) format with "PDF Compatible" enabled for compatibility and ease of use.
