To install the NOVALUX 55505 2-ft 105W LED Linear High Bay, please follow the instructions provided in the manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure to turn off the electrical power at the fuse or circuit breaker box.
2. Remove the LED fixture from the packaging and inspect it for any damages. Handle the fixture with care.
3. If you are using the standard chain mount, install the chain into the provided wire hanger. Secure the other end of the chain to a structure using hardware rated for the load. Install the wire hanger on the side of the top LED channel. Ensure that the wiring hangers are fully engaged into the side holes on the top channel.
4. Connect the LED high bay wiring to the line voltage wire. Connect the black wire to the hot wire, the white wire to the neutral wire, and the green wire to the ground wire. Use only UL-listed wiring. Note that there are purple and pink (or gray) wires inside the driver compartment, which are 0-10V dimming leads. Only connect them to dimming low-voltage wiring. If you are not connecting the fixture to a 0-10V dimming circuit, make sure to cap off the fixture dimmer leads separately from each other to avoid improper fixture operation and voiding the warranty.
5. Clean any residues or fingerprints from the LED high bay and lens.
6. Double-check all hanging hardware before proceeding with the installation.
