To install the EAGLETOP X5 Digital Door Lock, please follow the steps outlined in the instruction manual:
1. Check the door's opening direction: If the door is a Left-Hand Door, toggle the button to the Left. If the door is a Right-Hand Door, toggle it to the Right according to your opening direction.
2. Deadbolt Installation:
- xxxx the four cross bolts into the corresponding holes, with the longest one used for the top mounting hole.
- Hold the front body to the door and make sure the key nail piece and cable pass through the door hole. For a Left-Hand Door, rotate left to the end and insert. For a Right-Hand Door, rotate right to the end and insert.
- Secure the mounting plate with the cable passing through it, then fix the front body with three screws.
- Fully insert the protruding ring on the back of the panel into the door hole. Install the three screws at the bottom first, and then install the top xxxx .
- Pass the cable of the front body through the rectangular hole of the rubber pad and the door panel. Connect it to the wire cable connector of the back body. Make sure the cable is passed below the deadbolt to ensure it cannot be hindered.
- After connecting the cables, make sure the thumb xxxx is horizontal (for Left-Hand Door) or vertical (for Right-Hand Door) according to the door opening direction, then hold the back body onto the mounting plate.
- Fix the back body to the mounting plate with 3 screws. You can put the rubber stopper on the bottom xxxx hole for a better appearance.
- Place the batteries, making sure the direction is correct, and put on the battery cover.
- Drill the strike box and strike plate according to the size, then fix them with two screws.
3. Lock Body Installation:
- xxxx the four cross bolts into the corresponding holes, with the longest one used for the top mounting hole.
- Hold the front body to the door and make sure the key nail piece and cable pass through the door hole. For a Left-Hand Door, rotate left to the end and insert. For a Right-Hand Door, rotate right to the end and insert.
- Secure the mounting plate with the cable passing through it, then fix the front body with three screws.
- Fully insert the protruding ring on the back of the panel into the door hole. Install the three screws at the bottom first, and then install the top xxxx .
- Pass the cable of the front body through the rectangular hole of the rubber pad and the door panel. Connect it to the wire cable connector of the back body. Make sure the cable is passed below the deadbolt to ensure it cannot be hindered.
- After connecting the cables, make sure the thumb xxxx is horizontal (for Left-Hand Door) or vertical (for Right-Hand Door) according to the door opening direction, then hold the back body onto the mounting plate.
- Fix the back body to the mounting plate with 3 screws. You can put the rubber stopper on the bottom xxxx hole for a better appearance.

- Drill the strike box and strike plate according to the size, then fix them with two screws.
