To install the FLOMASTA Steel Panel Radiator 08, please follow these steps:
1. Before starting installation, ensure that all components are present and that you are satisfied with the size, design, and finish of the radiator.
2. Remove the blind plug, purge plug, and fastenings from the package. Take care not to damage the paint on the radiator.
3. If there are any missing or damaged parts, contact the supplier immediately.
4. The radiator should be installed using the brackets supplied.
5. If connecting to hollow walls (e.g., plasterboard), ensure that you fix the radiator to internal timbers or use appropriate fixings.
6. Before drilling or fixing into walls, floors, or ceilings, check for any pipes and wires.
7. Remove the plastic caps on each threaded connection of the radiator before installation.
8. Position the radiator so that it can be easily connected to the central heating system. Refer to the dimensioned sketches in the manual to drill your holes at the correct positions.
9. Note that radiator valves are not supplied and must be installed. It is recommended to install a thermostatic valve for temperature control and energy efficiency.
10. Fitting reflective panels on the wall behind the radiator is an option to improve efficiency.
