To mount the Clearwater Lights R1200GSW LED Light Kit on your motorcycle, follow these steps:
1. Park the motorcycle on hard pavement or concrete for stability during installation.
2. Disconnect the battery following the manufacturer's guidelines to prevent damage to the electrical system.
3. Check the parts list supplied with your kit to ensure all parts are handy.
4. Mount the lights and brackets according to the instructions provided in the manual. Use the provided bolts and washers for secure installation.
5. Remove the side panel and fuse from the Clearwater Lights wiring harness.
6. Mount the wiring harness to a secure location toward the front of the bike.
7. Connect the CANopener to the Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) under the passenger seat at the back of the bike.
8. Connect the lights and CANopener to their corresponding plugs on the wiring harness.
9. Secure the wires, ensuring they won't get caught in the suspension or steering column.
10. Attach the power lines to the battery and replace the fuse.
11. Start the engine for the lights to work properly.
