To install the Clihome IF-50FSB Electric Fireplace, follow these steps:
1. Select a suitable location that is not susceptible to moisture and is away from drapes, furniture, and high traffic areas.
2. If you are doing a recessed installation, open a hole in the drywall according to the specified dimensions for your model.
3. Remove the screws on both sides of the fireplace at the front corner and take off the front tempered glass.
4. Take out the foam from the fireplace.
5. If you are doing a recessed installation, have two people move the fireplace box to the wall hole or fireplace mantel.
6. If the appliance is fully recessed into the wall, use the provided screws to lock the appliance into the wall with the existing side flanges.
7. Put the carbon log or crystal stone into the fireplace bed and place the front panel to lock the appliance.
8. If you are doing a wall-mounted installation, select a location at least 36" away from combustible materials. Mount the bracket onto the wall using the supplied screws, making sure it is level.
9. With the wall mounting bracket installed, have two people lift the appliance and insert the two hooks on the bracket into the slots on the back of the appliance.
10. Put the carbon log or crystal stone into the fireplace bed and place the front panel to lock the appliance.
11. If you prefer a free-standing option, lay the heater on the floor or a table and install the base with the provided screws.
