To install the KOBE INX2936SQBF-500-1 Range Hood, follow these steps:
1. Carefully check all contents of the package and inspect the unit for any shipping damages, cosmetic damages, or defects.
2. Have a certified contractor or electrician test the unit before installation.
3. If there is any problem, do not install the unit and keep all original packaging material. Contact your merchant for product replacement.
4. Read all instructions carefully before starting the installation.
5. All wiring must be done by a professional and in accordance with national and local electrical codes.
6. Determine the location of the venting pipe from the hood to the outside. A straight, short vent run is recommended for efficient performance.
7. Install the hood inside the cabinet, ensuring proper clearance between the cooktop and the bottom of the range hood (recommended minimum clearance is 26" to 30").
8. Secure the hood using the provided screws and adjust the level of the hood casing support.
9. Connect the vent adapter to the exhaust opening and connect the pipe to the vent adapter, ensuring it is completely airtight.
10. Connect the range hood to an outlet or hardwire it according to the instructions.
11. Remove any protective film from the hood and ensure all accessories, such as filters, are properly installed.
12. Test the range hood to ensure it is working properly.
