To connect the SGCAN300 CANBUS Relay Module to your generator, you will need to follow the wiring connection instructions provided in the user manual. Here are the steps:
1. Connect the DC power input B- terminal of the module to the negative pole of the DC power source.
2. Connect the DC power input B+ terminal of the module to the positive pole of the DC power source.
3. Connect the programmable digital input terminal of the module to the B- terminal. This connection is used for bus switch status judgment.
4. If terminal resistance matching is required for RS485 communication, short connect the RS485-TR terminal with the RS485-A(+) terminal. Otherwise, leave it suspended.
5. Connect the RS485-A(+) terminal of the module to the RS485 communication interface.
6. Connect the RS485-B(-) terminal of the module to the RS485 communication interface.
7. If terminal resistance matching is required for MSC1 communication, short connect the MSC1-TR terminal with the MSC1-CANH terminal. Otherwise, leave it suspended.
8. Connect the MSC1-CANH terminal of the module to the CANBUS communication interface.
9. Connect the MSC1-CANL terminal of the module to the CANBUS communication interface.
10. If terminal resistance matching is required for MSC2 communication, short connect the MSC2-TR terminal with the MSC2-CANH terminal. Otherwise, leave it suspended.
11. Connect the MSC2-CANH terminal of the module to the CANBUS communication interface.
12. Connect the MSC2-CANL terminal of the module to the CANBUS communication interface.
13. Connect the FIBER-TX terminal of the module to the optical fiber communication interface using an SC connector with a lock.
14. Connect the FIBER-RX terminal of the module to the optical fiber communication interface using an SC connector with a lock.
