To change the circular saw blade on the BOSCH GKS 235 Turbo Hand Held Circular Saw, follow these steps:
1. Pull the plug out of the socket before starting any work on the power tool.
2. Wear protective gloves to avoid injury when handling the saw blade.
3. Press and hold the spindle lock button located on the side of the saw near the blade.
4. Use the hex key provided to loosen the clamping bolt on the saw blade in a counterclockwise direction.
5. Swing the retracting blade guard back and hold it firmly.
6. Remove the clamping flange and the old saw blade from the saw spindle.
7. Clean the saw blade and all the clamping elements before fitting the new saw blade.
8. Place the new saw blade on the mounting flange, ensuring that the cutting direction of the teeth matches the rotational direction indicated on the protective guard.
9. Attach the clamping flange and tighten the clamping bolt in a clockwise direction using the hex key. The tightening torque should be 10-12 Nm, which is hand-tight plus a ¼ turn.
10. Release the spindle lock button and swing the retracting blade guard back into place.
11. Ensure that the saw blade is securely fitted before using the power tool.
