To pair the retro-bit TRIBUTE 64 USB Controller with your N64 console, follow these steps:
1. Before beginning, select either Rumble or Memory mode on the N64 receiver. You can connect a Controller Pak (aka Memory Pak) to the receiver when the console is off.
2. Connect the N64 receiver to the console.
3. Power on the console and the LED on the receiver should start blinking slowly.
4. Press and hold the pairing button on the receiver until it begins to blink rapidly.
5. Press the Start button on the controller to power it on. If it does not connect automatically, you may need to press Start again to force the connection.
6. Only Controller Paks (aka Memory Paks) are compatible with the N64 receiver. Do not attach any other accessories.
