To install the Gateman GM578-7C SS Cylindrical Lock, please follow the steps outlined in the instruction manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Mark the door and boreholes: Fold the template over the edge of the door and mark the site for the holes. The recommended hole sizes are 54mm and 23mm in diameter.
2. Cut out a 58x126x3mm base.
3. Remove the inside xxxx : Use the installation tool to depress the catch and pull off the inside xxxx .
4. Install the body: Install the latch and tighten it with screws. Rotate the outside rose to make the sleeve project symmetrically about the door. Ensure that the latch link with the body is secure.
5. Install the inside xxxx : Tighten the mounting plate with screws. Use the tool to tighten the inside rose. Push the inside xxxx all the way in until the catch on the body clicks into the catch hole.
6. Install the strike: Follow the instructions provided in the manual to install the strike.
7. Adjustable keyway for key-in- xxxx : Turn the xxxx clockwise until the catch aligns with the small hole. Insert the key and turn it counterclockwise about 45 degrees. Use the tool to depress the catch and pull off the outside xxxx . After turning the key 180 degrees, install the outside xxxx again.
