To customize the lighting and macros on the SteelSeries APEX 9 Mini Gaming Keyboard, you will need to use the SteelSeries GG software. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Download and install the SteelSeries GG software from the website steelseri.es/gg.
2. Once installed, open the SteelSeries GG software.
3. Connect your APEX 9 Mini Gaming Keyboard to your computer using the included USB-C to USB-A cable.
4. In the SteelSeries GG software, you will find various options to customize your keyboard. You can adjust the lighting effects, create macros, and more.
5. To customize the lighting, go to the lighting section in the software. Here, you can choose from different lighting effects, colors, and patterns. You can also sync the lighting with other SteelSeries devices if you have them.
6. To create macros, go to the macros section in the software. Click on the "On-the-fly Macro Recording Key" (2) on your keyboard to start recording a macro. Type the desired key combinations, and then press the "On-the-fly Macro Recording Key" (2) again to end the recording. The macro will be saved and can be assigned to a specific key.
7. You can also customize other settings such as key assignments, profiles, and multimedia keys in the software.
Remember to save your changes in the software and make sure to have the software running in the background for your customizations to take effect on the keyboard.
