To install the QAZQA 105498 Nidum Wandlamp, please follow the steps below:
1. Ensure that the electrical supply is switched off before starting the installation process. It is recommended to switch off the power at the distribution box.
2. Carefully read and understand the instruction manual provided with the product. Keep the manual for future reference.
3. The installation of the luminaire should be done by authorized and qualified technicians in accordance with the valid regulations for electrical installation. If you are unsure, it is advisable to consult a professional who can take local installation requirements into account.
4. Take note of the symbols used for connecting wires: N (Neutral), L (Live), and =Earth. Make sure to connect the wires correctly.
5. Ensure that clamping screws in electrical connections are adequately tightened, especially for 12 low voltage conductors.
6. Pay attention to the minimum separation distance from other objects and the required room around the fitting.
7. Do not install the exterior lighting during rain.
8. When replacing a halogen lamp, wait for it to cool down for a minimum of 5 minutes.
9. Clean the luminaire with a clean, dry cloth or brush. Do not use solvents or abrasives. Avoid dampness on all electrical components.
10. Take into account all available technical information provided with the product.
11. The QAZQA 105498 Nidum Wandlamp is designed for indoor use only, where direct contact with water is impossible.
12. Depending on the protection class indicated, ensure that the fitting is properly earthed (Protection Class I), or if it is double insulated and does not require earthing (Protection Class II), or if it is low voltage (Protection Class III).
13. The luminaire can be used in combination with a dimmer if desired.
14. Follow the recommended guidelines for disposing of the luminaire. It should not be disposed of with normal domestic waste but should be brought to a staging area for electrical waste.
