Cleaning the grease filters of the Esatto ERU52TB 52 Undermount Range Hood is an important maintenance task to ensure the optimum performance of your appliance. Here are the steps to clean the grease filters:
1. Remove the grease filters from the range hood. The filters are located behind the aluminum grease filters.
2. There are two cleaning options available:
- Cleaning manually: Soak the filter for about 3 minutes in water with a mild non-corrosive grease-removing detergent. Wash the filter separately from crockery and kitchen utensils. Gently brush the filter with a soft brush to remove any grease or dirt. Rinse the filter thoroughly with clean water.
- Cleaning using the dishwasher: Place the filter in the dishwasher and run a program with a mild non-corrosive grease-removing detergent. Wash the filter separately from crockery and kitchen utensils. Gently brush the filter with a soft brush to remove any remaining grease or dirt. Rinse the filter thoroughly with clean water.
3. After cleaning, leave the filter to dry naturally out of direct sunlight.
4. Once the filter is completely dry, put it back into its correct position in the range hood.
It is recommended to clean the grease filters on a monthly basis to maintain the efficiency of your range hood. Please refer to the user manual for more detailed instructions and safety precautions.
