To properly install the KUZCO WS16705 LED Wall Sconce, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the power is completely off at the fuse box before starting the installation process.
2. It is recommended to have the fixture installed by a qualified licensed electrician to ensure proper installation and safety.
3. Prepare the installation area by clearing it of any obstructions or debris.
4. Wear gloves throughout the installation process to protect yourself.
5. Read the instructions carefully before starting the assembly to familiarize yourself with the installation steps.
6. Keep the instruction sheet for future reference.
7. Please note that the Kuzco LED fixture comes with pre-wired LED module(s). It is important not to touch any part of the LED module(s) unless instructed, as unnecessary contact could cause permanent damage.
8. For dimming functionality, an ELV (Electronic Low Voltage) type of dimmer is required.
9. The fixture is designed for 120V input.
Now, let's proceed with the installation:
10. Remove the fixture from its original package.
11. Separate the mounting plate (1c) from the fixture (2a) by removing the fixture screws (2b).
12. Attach the mounting plate (1c) to the electrical junction box (1a) using the junction box screws provided (1e) in the hardware package.
13. Make proper electrical connections by connecting the black wire to the hot "L" wire, the white wire to the neutral "N" wire, and the ground wire to the "GND" wire. Use the wire nuts (1b) provided in the hardware package to secure the connections.
14. Attach the fixture (2a) to the mounting plate (1c) using the fixture screws (2b).
