To install the SALTO WRDx0A4, WRDx0A4K Series Wall Reader, you will need a gang electrical standard box and the necessary tools. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Ensure that you have the correct model of the wall reader for your installation.
2. Prepare the gang electrical standard box by mounting it securely on the wall at the desired location.
3. Connect the necessary cables to the wall reader according to the cable type and maximum distances specified in the manual. SALTO recommends using UTP Cat5e cables for optimal performance.
4. If you are using the wall reader with a SALTO Control Unit (CU42xx or CU41xY), follow the cable connection instructions provided in the manual for the specific unit.
5. Ensure that the minimum distance between readers is 20 inches (50cm) if you are installing multiple readers.
6. Connect the power supply to the wall reader, making sure to observe the correct polarity.
7. Once the installation is complete, test the functionality of the wall reader to ensure it is working properly.
