To connect the Milesight UG56 LoRaWAN Gateway to the network, you have multiple options. The gateway supports multi-backhaul connectivity backups with Ethernet, cellular (4G/3G), and Wi-Fi.
1. Ethernet: Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port on the gateway and the other end to your network switch or router. The gateway supports 10/100 Base-T Ethernet with auto MDI/MDIX.
2. Cellular (Optional): If you have a cellular connection available, you can insert a Mini SIM card into the SIM slot on the gateway. This allows the gateway to connect to the network using cellular data.
3. Wi-Fi: The gateway has an internal antenna and supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi in 2.4 GHz frequency. You can configure the gateway to connect to your Wi-Fi network in either AP (Access Point) or Client mode.
Please refer to the Milesight UG56 LoRaWAN Gateway User Manual for detailed instructions on configuring the network settings and connecting the gateway to your desired network option.
