To install the Hoover HPY6CBK5BGWIFI Cooker Hood, follow these steps:
1. Prepare for installation: If you have an outlet to the outside, you can connect the cooker hood using an extraction duct. Before installation, turn off the unit and unplug it from the outlet. The cooker hood should be placed at a distance of 65-75cm above the cooking plane for best effect.
2. Create a cut-out: Using a jigsaw, create the required cut-out for your range hood. For the HPY6CBK5BGWIFI model, the cut-out size should be 485 × 265mm. Make sure the cut-out is at least 20mm from the cabinet edge.
3. Insert the range hood: Insert the range hood into the cabinet.
4. Attach the hanging plates: Remove the 8 screws of the 4 hanging plates on the range hood. Push the 4 hanging plates onto the top side of the cabinet edge. xxxx the 4 hanging plates onto the range hood using the 8 screws previously removed. Make sure the screws are securely tightened.
5. Install the activated carbon filter (optional): If you want to use the activated carbon filter to trap odors, detach the grease filter first by pressing the lock and pulling it downward. Plug the activated carbon filter into the unit and turn it clockwise to secure it. Repeat the same on the other side.
Note: Ensure that the filter is securely locked to prevent any danger. When the activated carbon filter is attached, the suction power will be lower.
