Proper cleaning and maintenance of the HI-TECH All-U-Need machine are essential for its optimal performance and longevity. Here are the steps to clean and maintain the machine:
1. After each use, rinse the black splash guard and flush out the white catch tray with clean water to wash away any rock sediment. Do not dispose of the used water down a sink, as it can harden and clog the drain.
2. Allow the machine to dry completely before storing it in a safe place, away from children.
3. Every two months or so, oil the inside of the 2" silver arbor to prevent it from seizing onto the motor shaft. Use a few drops of motor oil, way oil, lithium, or water pump grease. Be careful not to apply excess oil that may drip down into the motor, as this can cause motor burn-out.
4. Check the fuse located at the back of the machine. If the fuse needs replacement, use a 250V, 3AMP slo-blo cartridge fuse, which can be found at a local hardware store.
