To install the software for the TMD2621 Proximity Sensor Module, follow these steps:

1. Plug the provided flash drive into an unused USB port on your computer.
2. Double-click the Setup.exe file on the flash drive. Alternatively, you can click Start > Run and type the appropriate drive letter followed by Setup.exe (e.g., E:Setup.exe) and press Enter. Make sure to use the correct drive letter for the flash drive.
3. The Setup Wizard will open and guide you through the installation process. Follow the on-screen instructions provided in Figure 2 through Figure 8 of the user guide.
4. If your machine does not have the FTDI CDM drivers installed, the setup will automatically launch the installer for these drivers.
5. Once the installation is complete, click Finish to exit the setup.

Note: The software installation path may vary depending on your device and operating system. The default installation directories are as follows:
- Windows 32-bit operating systems: C:\Program Files\ams-OSRAM\TMD2621_EVM
- Windows 64-bit operating systems: C:\Program Files (x86)\ams-OSRAM\TMD2621_EVM

If you need to uninstall the software, you can do so by selecting ams-OSRAM > TMD2621 EVM > Uninstall TMD2621 EVM from the system menu or using the Windows Control Panel.
