To turn off the gas to the Lennox KG 024 Rooftop Unit, follow these steps:
1. If using an electromechanical thermostat, set it to the lowest setting.
2. Before performing any service, turn off all electrical power to the appliance.
3. Open or remove the heat section access panel.
4. Locate the gas valve switch and turn it to the "OFF" position. On Honeywell VR8305Q gas valves, turn the xxxx on the gas valve clockwise to "OFF". Do not force it.
5. Close or replace the heat section access panel.
It is important to note that attempting to manually light the unit is not recommended, as it has a direct spark ignition system. If you need further assistance or if the unit is not operating properly, it is recommended to contact a qualified service technician or your gas supplier.
