To become a paddlesports instructor at AQ Outdoors, the minimum requirement is to have a Level 2 (L2) or Instructor 2 (I2) certification. Having a Level 3 (L3) or Instructor 3 (I3) certification is considered a bonus. However, regardless of certifications, thorough staff training and evaluation will be conducted in-house. Additionally, any Sea Kayaking or Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) instructor certifications are seen as a bonus. It is important to note that a 40-hour Wilderness First Aid certification, valid for the 2023 season, is also required. Having an outdoor education degree or diploma is considered an additional bonus.
