According to the user manual, the RF DESIGN RFD900ux2 Ultra Long Range Radio Modem can be powered in two ways.
1. External Supply: You can power the modem using an external 5V supply. Connect the external supply to pin 1 (V External) and pin 2 (Supply) of the modem's JST connector. Make sure the maximum voltage of the external supply is 5V.
2. Pixhawk/FTDI Supply: If you are using a Pixhawk or FTDI for power, you can connect the modem to the Pixhawk/FTDI 5V supply. Connect pin 3 (V Standard) of the modem's JST connector to the Pixhawk/FTDI 5V supply.
Note: To power the modem, a jumper must be fitted between pin 1 and 2 (for external supply) or pin 2 and 3 (for Pixhawk/FTDI supply).
Please refer to the user manual for more detailed instructions and diagrams on how to power the RF DESIGN RFD900ux2 Ultra Long Range Radio Modem.
