To connect the 3xDS18B20 Add-on for Shelly Plus Devices, follow these steps:
1. Before starting the installation, ensure that the power grid is turned off and there is no voltage present at the terminals of the Shelly Plus device you are attaching the Add-on to. Use a phase tester or multimeter to confirm this.
2. Attach the Add-on to the Shelly Plus device by aligning the brackets on the Add-on with the hooks on the Shelly Plus device. Be careful not to bend the header pins when inserting them into the header connector.
3. Connect the sensors to the Add-on as shown in the provided diagrams. You can connect up to 5 digital temperature sensors DS18B20 or one digital humidity and temperature sensor DHT22. Do not connect more than one DHT22 sensor or a combination of DHT22 and DS18B20 sensors.
4. If you want to measure analog values, you can connect a 10 kΩ potentiometer for smooth analog readings or a thermistor with 10 kΩ nominal resistance and β=4000 K for analog temperature measurement.
5. The Add-on also provides an interface for an auxiliary digital signal through its digital input. You can connect a switch/button, a relay, or any other electronic device to this input.
