To connect the IMG ECMS-70 Stageline condenser microphone to your audio device, follow these steps:
1. xxxx the microphone holder (spider) onto a microphone stand. If your stand has a 9.5mm (3/8") thread, use the thread adapter provided to xxxx the holder onto the stand. If your stand has a 15.9mm (5/8") thread, xxxx the holder onto the stand without using the adapter.
2. Press together the two wire clips on the holder to open the clamp. Insert the microphone into the holder, and the clamp will secure the microphone in place.
3. Loosen the xxxx on the joint of the holder. Position the microphone so that its front is directed towards the sound source, and then tighten the xxxx to secure the position.
4. Use a 3-pole cable (e.g., an XLR cable from the MEC-... series) to connect the microphone to a balanced microphone input on your audio device, such as a mixer. If your microphone input does not provide 48V phantom power, you will need to connect the microphone to the input via a phantom power supply unit (e.g., EMA-3).
