Before beginning construction, it is recommended to read over the instructions to become familiar with the proper construction steps. It is also important to check the parts list to ensure you have all the necessary parts. To prepare the rocket parts, you should perform a test fit of all the parts to ensure proper fit. Light sanding may be necessary to obtain the proper fit. It is recommended to sand the parts to be bonded with 100-120 grit sandpaper. Additionally, it is strongly recommended to dry-fit (assemble without gluing) all parts in each step before epoxying them together. This allows you to sand or adjust the fit as needed before gluing.
