To control the backlit of the Savio FAN-01 ARGB Fan Kit, you have several options:
1. Backlit control by motherboard: If your motherboard has an ARGB (5V) or VDG (Gigabyte motherboard) socket, you can control the backlit using the dedicated motherboard software. Connect the power supply directly to the controller and connect the ARGB (5V) or VGD cable to the motherboard. Please note that during controlling by the motherboard, the remote control will not work.
2. Backlit control by manual mode using the RESTART button or the LED on the PC case: If your motherboard does not have an ARGB (5V) or VDG (Gigabyte motherboard) connector, you can control the backlit using the RESTART or LED button (if your computer case has a dedicated button) located on the top of the housing. Connect the power directly to the controller and connect the LED SW/RESET SW cable to the controller.
3. Backlit control by remote control: The backlit can also be controlled by the included remote control. The remote control works on radio waves, allowing you to change the backlit color and working parameters of the fans from a distance. To control by remote control, connect the power supply to the controller.
To change the backlit mode control, follow these steps:
- If the controller is connected at the same time to the motherboard and RESTART/LED button, only one mode of backlit control will work properly.
- Press the RESTART/LED button placed on the top part of the case for about 2 seconds.
- Press and hold for 3 seconds the button placed on the remote control. These two sequences will cause a change in mode from the motherboard to manual by the RESTART/LED button and vice versa.
