To install the StarTech 4K30-HDMI-CAPTURE USB 3.0 HDMI Video Capture Device, follow these steps:
1. Connect an HDMI cable from your video source to the HDMI input port on the capture device.
2. Connect the USB host cable to the capture device and to an available USB-A or USB-C port on your computer. Note that a SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 1) or higher host port is required for optimal performance.
3. Your computer will automatically install the necessary drivers when the capture device is connected.
Please note that no software is included with the 4K30-HDMI-CAPTURE device. It works with third-party software (e.g., Teams, Zoom, OBS) that supports USB Video Class (UVC) devices.
