To set the voltage and wire speed for MIG/MAG welding with the GYS 014572 Multiweld 250T-C Welding Machine, follow these steps:
1. Refer to the instructions/recommendations printed on the front of the machine to determine the appropriate voltage and wire speed settings for the thickness of the weld piece you are working with.
2. On the control board MMI (Figure V in the manual), use the voltage setting adjustment xxxx to adjust the welding voltage to the desired setpoint. The voltage setpoint will be indicated on the left side display.
3. Use the wire speed adjustment xxxx to adjust the wire speed to the desired setpoint. The wire speed setpoint will be indicated on the central side display.
4. If necessary, adjust the inductance level using the inductance setting xxxx . The inductance level can be adjusted from MIN to MAX. A lower inductance level will result in a harder and more guiding arc, while a higher inductance level will result in a softer arc with less splatter.
5. Once you have set the voltage, wire speed, and inductance level, you are ready to start MIG/MAG welding.
Note: It is important to refer to the instructions/recommendations printed on the front of the machine for specific voltage and wire speed settings based on the thickness of the weld piece you are working with.
