To adjust the brightness of the Clearwater lights using the CANopener module, follow these steps:
1. If your bike is equipped with the BMW Wonder Wheel (handlebar-mounted rotary dimmer), make sure the bike is running.
2. Press and release the Turn Signal Cancel (TSC) button to enter dimming mode.
3. To adjust the brightness of the Darla lights, hold the Wonder Wheel to the Left for 2 seconds. To adjust the brightness of the Krista/Erica/Sevina lights, hold the Wonder Wheel to the Right for 2 seconds. The lights will flash twice to indicate that you are in dimming mode.
4. Rotate the Wonder Wheel forward to increase the brightness or backward to decrease the brightness.
5. Once you have set the desired brightness level, press and release the TSC button again to exit dimming mode and lock in the brightness setting.
Note: Each set of lights can be adjusted independently for day and night settings. The module automatically selects the appropriate dimming level based on the ambient light level reaching the bike's photocell. To adjust the night dimmer, simply cover the dash display using your hand or a towel. The high beam switches the lights to 100% brightness. If you want your high beam to be dimmed, perform the same commands in high beam mode.
Please refer to the Clearwater LIGHTS CANopener Dixi Controls User Manual for more detailed instructions and information on other features and operations of the CANopener module.
