To pair your DIRECTV R35602B Universal Remote Control to your set-top box, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the Rewind and Fast Forward buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until the visible LEDs start flashing.
2. Enter the digits 961, followed by the Channel Up button.
3. Using the number keys, enter the last six digits of the RID number located behind the set-top box.
4. Press and release the ENTER key (the green light will flash twice).
Your remote control should now be paired with your set-top box.
Note: The pairing process is necessary for the remote control to communicate with the set-top box and control its functions.
