To install the Q-TRAN UX8 DMX Controller and its accessories, please follow these steps:
1. Install the junction box into the wall: Begin by securely installing the provided junction box into the desired location on the wall.
2. Pry the baseplate: Use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry the baseplate away from the touch panel. This will allow access to the mounting holes.
3. xxxx the baseplate to the junction box: Align the baseplate with the mounting holes on the junction box and firmly xxxx it in place. Ensure that the baseplate is securely attached to the junction box.
4. Connect all components: Connect all necessary components to the UX8 controller. This includes connecting the power adapter to the junction box and ensuring that the DMX GND (ground) is connected to the earth GND.
5. Snap the touch panel into place: Snap the upper portion of the touch panel into the baseplate, ensuring that it fits securely. Then, snap the bottom portion of the touch panel into place, completing the installation.
6. Program the zones: Once the installation is complete, you can proceed to program the zones on the Q-TRAN UX8 DMX Controller according to your specific requirements. Please refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on programming the zones.
