To adjust the height of the Hunter 19271 2 Light Pendant, you can use the included rods. The fixture comes with 4 12-inch rods and 1 6-inch rod. Determine the desired hanging height and use the appropriate number of rods. To lengthen the fixture, add additional rods. To shorten the fixture, trim the wires to the desired length. Leave at least 8 to 10 inches of wire in addition to the desired length and slide any excess rods off the fixture's wiring to discard. Thread the wires through the rods and pull them until taut before connecting the rods together. All threads should be engaged, but do not over tighten. xxxx the rod onto the threaded post on the fixture.
Note: If you want to use a 12-inch rod by itself, you need to remove the threaded post from the 6-inch rod and install it on one of the ends of the 12-inch rod.
Hunter Pro Tip: Twist or tape the wire ends together to make it easier to pass them through the downrods. The threaded post may also be removed for easier wire access.
