To install the Ingenico M5000CL4GWI Mobile Payment Terminal for fixed installation without PIN shield, you need to follow these guidelines:
1. Angle the device at 45 degrees or more to prevent oversight of the PIN entry from the rear of the device.
2. Use a swivel stand or fix the device in the best possible position to prevent oversight. The customer should be able to position the device at an angle that makes visual observation of the PIN entry difficult.
3. Accompany the device environment with conspicuous notices and educational material that informs the customer to shield their PIN during PIN entry.
4. Deploy the device in a way that prevents oversight from other customers in different payment lanes or other areas of the shopping environment. This can be achieved by placing the customer between the device keypad and other customers or by using the checkout itself to shield the PIN entry process.
5. Ensure that the terminal is exclusively used indoors.
Please note that if the above conditions cannot be fulfilled, the device must be used with PIN shield.
