To connect the EVOLVEO F16 Smart Wi-Fi Socket to your Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:
1. Connect your mobile phone to your Wi-Fi network.
2. Download the Smart Life app from Google Play or the Apple Store. You can also use the Tuya Smart app.
3. Register and create a new account if you are a new user. If you already have an account, log in to the Smart Life app using your login credentials.
4. Place the smart socket near your router and briefly press the button on the socket. The LED will light up to indicate that the device is switched on.
5. In the Smart Life app, select the "+" in the top right corner of the screen and choose "Power outlet (Wi-Fi)" in the "Electrical" category.
6. Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. Press the "Next" button to connect to the network.
7. Hold the button on the socket for approximately 5-10 seconds until the LED starts flashing. This will reset the socket to factory settings and prepare it for pairing.
8. Press "Next" in the app to confirm that the LED is flashing, then select "Blink Quickly".
9. Select the desired socket by pressing "+". The pairing process may take 1-2 minutes.
10. After successful pairing, you can rename the device using the pencil symbol and click on "Done" in the top right corner.
Note: The socket only supports 2.4GHz networks. If your router supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, make sure to choose the 2.4GHz network for pairing.
