To install or remove the battery cartridge on the Makita DML802 LED Flashlight, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the tool is switched off before installing or removing the battery cartridge.
2. Hold the tool and the battery cartridge firmly to prevent them from slipping.
3. To remove the battery cartridge, slide it from the tool while sliding the button on the front of the cartridge.
4. To install the battery cartridge, align the tongue on the battery cartridge with the groove in the housing and slip it into place. Insert it all the way until it locks in place with a little click.
5. Check that the red indicator on the upper side of the button is not visible, indicating that the battery cartridge is locked completely.
6. Do not force the installation of the battery cartridge. If it does not slide in easily, it may not be inserted correctly.
